The Tacoma Rainiers edged the North Carolina Knuckleheads at SAFECO Field by
the score of 5 to 4.
 
Ian Kennedy(1-2) delivered a fine performance for Tacoma.  He went 8 innings
allowing 10 hits and 4 walks.  Tacoma had a total of 8 hits for the game.
 
Steve Delabar preserved the game for Kennedy, recording his his 1st save. Marc
Rzepczynski(0-1) was the loser in relief.  It was a tough loss for him as he
did not allow an earned run in his 1 and 2/3 innings of work.  
 
'I struggled a bit out there today,' Kennedy said, 'but I toughed it out and
we got the win.'
