Second baseman Ty Wigginton had 2 base hits at SAFECO Field as the Tacoma
Rainiers beat the awful Williamstown Purple Cows 5 to 2.
 
Hisanori Takahashi(3-1) got the win with a steady relief outing.  He went 1/3
of an inning allowing 2 hits and no walks.  Tacoma ended up with 9 hits for
the game while Williamstown had 5.  
 
Kameron Loe preserved the game for Takahashi, recording his his 1st.  John
Lannan(0-1) was tagged with the loss.  He pitched 7 innings allowing 7 hits
and no walks.
