In an entertaining game at SAFECO Field the final score was the Tacoma
Rainiers 5, the Canyon Diablo Critters 2.
 
Tacoma tallied 3 runs in the bottom of the 5th inning when they had 4 base
hits.  The key offensive moment was provided by Casey Blake who made the
crowd happy when he ripped a one-base hit scoring two baserunners.  Tacoma
totaled 9 hits on the night.  
 
The victory was credited to Clayton Richard(10-12) who went 6 innings,
allowing 2 runs. Richard got help from Kameron Loe who was credited with his
2nd save.  Tim Hudson(15-7) suffered the loss.  He allowed 3 runs and 7 hits
in 7 innings.  
 
With this win, Tacoma has a 80-65 record.  They have been 5-5 lately.  Canyon
Diablo has a record of 83-56 after the loss.
