Michael Pineda took a no-hitter into the 6th inning at SAFECO Field where the
Tacoma Rainiers beat the Stockbridge Traders by the score of 4 to
1.
 
Pineda(8-2) gave Tacoma a solid outing.  He went 7 innings surrendering 3 hits
and 2 walks.  The right-handed Pineda had his no-hit bid broken up by Will
Venable who singled with nobody out in the 6th inning.  Tacoma had only 6
hits for the night.  
 
Kyle Farnsworth earned his 15th save.  Justin Masterson(7-3) was charged with
the loss.  He gave up 5 hits and 2 walks in 7 innings.
