The New Dorp Donkeys edged the Tacoma Rainiers in 10 innings at SAFECO Field
by the score of 3 to 2.
 
The score was knotted at 2 after nine innings.  New Dorp came out on top in
the 10th inning.  Humberto Quintero tripled.  After an out was recorded,
Miguel Tejada came to bat and slapped a base-hit.  After another out, Mike
Stanton got his chance to keep things going, but he went down on strikes.
New Dorp totaled 7 hits on the night.  
 
David Herndon(2-3) was the winner allowing no runs in 2 innings. Jordan Walden
got the save, his 15th.  Clayton Kershaw(16-6) was given the loss.  He
pitched 10 innings giving up 7 hits and 2 walks.
