The New Dorp Donkeys ended a long winless drought and defeated the Tacoma
Rainiers by a score of 6 to 2 at SAFECO Field.
 
Zach Britton(6-4) pitched a solid game.  He went 8 innings surrendering 6 hits
and 3 walks.  New Dorp had a total of 8 hits for the game.  
 
Bartolo Colon(0-1) was tagged with the loss.  Robert Smith was just happy to
get a win, 'We've had such a bad streak of games -- boy, it's great to get
the monkey off our back.  Now maybe we can relax a little and play the kind
of baseball of which we are capable.'
