In a thriling finish the Tacoma Rainiers pulled off the win over the Canyon
Diablo Critters by a score of 4 to 3 at SAFECO Field.
 
Tacoma won the game with a run in the 9th inning.  Corey Hart doubled.  Jamey
Carroll came next and he laid down a sacrifice bunt.  After another out,
Yadier Molina stepped up to the plate and he was walked intentionally.
Eduardo Sanchez then threw a pitch that the catcher muffed giving Tacoma the
win much to the delight of the home town crowd.  For the game Tacoma out-hit
Canyon Diablo 11 to 6.  
 
Brian Fuentes(5-3) got the win allowing no runs in 1 inning. Sanchez(3-1) was
hit with the loss in relief.  He surrendered 1 run and 1 hit in 2/3 of an
inning.
