In a tight game it was the Williamstown Purple Cows 4, the Tacoma Rainiers 2
at SAFECO Field.
 
Kyle Lohse(3-1) pitched a solid game.  He allowed 5 hits and 2 walks in 6 and
2/3 innings.  Williamstown took care of Tacoma with no trouble in the bottom
of the 9th.  
 
Sergio Romo earned the save, his 1st.  Erik Bedard(1-3) absorbed the loss.
'Ahhh, how sweet it is,' Tom Tomlinson sighed.  'That win feels like a tall,
cool drink of water after spending far too much time in the desert lately.'
