Right fielder Jay Bruce had 2 base hits as the Williamstown Purple Cows
defeated the Tacoma Rainiers 2 to 0 at SAFECO Field.
 
Dustin Moseley(1-0) looked very much in control throughout the day.  He gave
up just 7 hits and 1 walk in 8 and 2/3 innings.  Tacoma had a chance to come
back in the 9th but they came up short.  
 
Moseley was helped out by Jonathan Papelbon who recorded his 7th save.  Ian
Kennedy(5-1) was tagged with the loss.  'We didn't get the key hits when we
needed them' Michael Swanson said. 'We did what we could, we just didn't pull
out the win. What can you say?'
