The Canyon Diablo Critters ended a long winless drought and got by the Tacoma
Rainiers at SAFECO Field.  The final score was 5 to 3.
 
Mark Buehrle(7-2) pitched well for Canyon Diablo in their victory.  He went 8
innings surrendering 7 hits and no walks.  Tacoma tried unsuccessfully to
come back in the 9th.  
 
Buehrle got help from Brandon League who was credited with his 16th save.  Ian
Kennedy(6-7) absorbed the loss.  He pitched 7 and 1/3 innings allowing 5 hits
and 4 walks.
