The Asbury Jukes edged the Tacoma Rainiers at SAFECO Field by the score of 3
to 2.
Asbury started with a bang, jumping out to an early lead in their half of the
first when they came up with 2 runs on 3 hits. Tacoma made it exciting in
the 9th, but they were unable to push the needed runs across.
The victory went to Alexi Ogando(9-5) who went 5 innings, allowing no runs.
Ogando got help from Joaquin Benoit who was credited with his 4th save. Erik
Bedard(5-8) was the losing pitcher.
'It was a tough one to lose' said Michael Swanson 'We'll get them next time
out.'
