Tommy Hanson(6-3) and Michael Pineda(10-5) treated the Tacoma fans to a fine
pitching duel at SAFECO Field. The Asbury Jukes eventually emerged as
victors over the Tacoma Rainiers by the score of 2 to 1.

Asbury brought 2 runs across the plate in the 6th inning with the help of 3
hits. After two outs Kelly Johnson started the scoring when he lofted a
solo-blast 'downtown'. Ryan Braun next to the plate and he drew a walk.
Miguel Montero then ripped a single. Albert Pujols followed and he doubled.
Nick Swisher came to the plate and was walked intentionally to load the
bases. Justin Turner followed, but he was set down on strikes. The game was
a scoreless duel until the 6th inning.

Francisco Rodriguez was credited with his 1st save. 'Ahhh, how sweet it is,'
Dave Berks sighed. 'That win feels like a tall, cool drink of water after
spending far too much time in the desert lately.'
